Beware of translators!

This is a great instance of what I mean when I say you have to be careful with translation programs:

Image source: Flickr (Galería de César)

You can see another image of the above advertisement in this link.

Original text in English: "PICKPOCKETS BEWARE! UNDERCOVER POLICE WORKING IN THIS AREA! IN JULY THREE PICKPOCKETS RECEIVED SENTENCES OF OVER FOUR YEARS!"

Translation (if we can call it as such) into... Spanish?: "LOS PICKPOCKETS SE GUARDAN. POLICÍA DE LA CUBIERTA INTERIOR QUE TRABAJA EN EL ÁREA. EN JULIO TRES LOS PICKPOCKETS RECIBIERON ORACIONES DE LA PRISIÓN SOBRE DE CUATRO AÑOS." Does this mean anything to you?

Believe it or not, this nonsense is a real ad of London Metropolitan Police. This kind of thing is what happens when you don't use translation software with care. Can you suggest a better translation?

You will find many other funny translations at http://wtf.microsiervos.com/from-lost/

Very mucho divertido las translations. ¿Hay qué rezar a los presos?
El enlace no tiene desperdicio o "waste".
Un saludo.

I bet you have not clicked this post's "listen now". The part where he reads the "translation" is so funny!
